Malefactor: Dominion of Darkness


Hi! As you can see, for some time in the description of "Malefactor" there is an information that the version currently available is only a prototype. And indeed. I am heading towards the end of work on the full version. I hope to publish it by the end of the year, in the worst case - by the end of January.
The full version will include many new mechanics, including:

- Your military strength will no longer be described by a single number. Each type of unit will be counted separately, which will affect gameplay. In addition, separate numbers will determine the quality of weapons used by your army and the physical condition of your avatar;

- Economy - you will be able to accumulate wealth and spend it to purchase weapons, magical artifacts, pay officers, etc. Each of the Free Peoples Kingdoms will have an indicator that determines the state of its economy - the higher it is, the more profitable it is to loot a region or collect tribute from local followers, but it increases the risk of expanding the royal army, which can pose a threat to you;

- the possibilities for military action will be greatly expanded - before the final "Great Conquest" comes, you will be able to organize smaller raids on the Free Peoples' Kingdoms from time to time - the effect can vary and depend on, among other things, what kind of troops you send - such as weakening the Kingdom's economy, gaining wealth, capturing slaves or sowing hostility between different peoples; also the Great Conquest will be expanded - it will no longer come down to "one country - one battle."

- a new system of magic - it will be more extensive, and the possibilities for its use - wider and frequent. Accumulate energy to use it to summon demons and undead, heal your avatar's wounds or reverse the fate of battles.
