I like the premise, but lack agency and clarity in what I'm doing. I don't know what is before me and what I should do so I just click things and read what is happening. I suppose it would help to have any sort of UI that is visible at all times so that I have instant feedback of what my actions do (I click recruit Orks and see the number go up). The same goes with the state of my enemies - should I ready for an assault, can I choose to attack someone or do I have to wait for the game to let me? I don't know. In short - would like to play more but with more clarity and agency.
This is actually a really interesting game! I like it. Very original indeed. It’s like going on your own adventure and making your own choices along the way.
I'm not usually too big on Choose Your Own Adventure style games but, this one pulled me right in! I love the concept of playing the whole game as the antagonist, very refreshing and a lot of fun. A lot of replay value here as well, the anticipation built around certain narrative events leaves me anxious to know the other possible outcomes. First time in a long time I've lost a game and still had enough fun to want to play it again! 🤘😊
Really impressive how quickly the game sucks you in. The narrative is interesting and keeps you wanting to know what happens next. The events are refreshing and dont feel repetitive. Overall I really enjoyed it and hope my second run will no be stopped by bloody elves. :D
I played Dominion of Darkness and it was game peak. I was already looking for a power fantasy with a deep storyline where you see the consequences of your decisions, and I found what I was looking for.
Nice idea and fans lord of the rings should love this. I like the idea behind befriending certain races and building your army up to rule all kingdoms. I think the stats section could be simplified rather than writing "influence over the kingdom of the dwarves" you could just have the stats section with Race: influence etc under it if that makes sense.
I like the idea and the visual cues and narrative are well executed. I would have liked to see more visual cues, but I think it is okay. The stats mechanics are interesting, I haven't tried all the routes I started recruiting and increasing influence on Greenskins and Humans. I haven't died yet, so let's see how this strategy goes. Will comment later once I give it more time, so far I have just played about an hour, trying different choices.

The story is very well-crafted; that's clearly the author's strength. Furthermore, the illustrations are elegant and tasteful.

Cool concept one of the better text adventures I've played
Makes me think of Lone Wolf and Magnamund, I like the narration and creative graphic inclusions.
I have to say, I've never played a game like this before! It was really fun! I enjoyed the unique experience and I'm glad I got to try it out
